News from the Rapport's

HELLOOOOO
After we left Tucson on the 30th of March had report of bad weather on our route home. Somehow we did miss the bad weather. On April 24th comes the worst flood that ever hit us. The little creek back of our place turned into a large loud forceful river. It was bad enough that I got 30 inches of water and mud in my shop. Took bench , flowers, mats and moved a 8 by 12
shed over next to the neighbors garage. The water did get high enough to come in our basement windows and make a mess in the basement. No sign of a street. Car next door water to steering wheel and another up to the hood. Lloyd, our son-in-law in Tucson flew home to help us clean up. Now the good part. The past week Sam and Gladie Mehle did stop to see us on their way back to Wisconsin. Hope all is going well in Tucson. Ready to go to work. Still doing the big job of a few hours on Sunday at our Country Club. We didn't get out to play golf yet. Did get the one
afternoon of good fishing though. Gene Rappold
