Bob and Claire Rogers Bicycling South America
Bob and Claire Rogers leave July 5 for Lima, Peru. They will ride Zippy (their tandem) across the Andes, take riverboats down the Amazon River, and bicycle out of Brazil to Guyana.

GOLF: Katke Golf Course located at Ferris State University next to Holiday Inn on Perry St. in Big Rapids
Tee off time: 8:00AM Thursday July 15th Cost: $19 for 18 holes with cart
everyone antes up $3 dollars for prizes and low score. no touring pros allowed
RV FOLKS: Paris Park (231-796-3420) or Blodgett Landing (231-832-4410) Full hookups available
Jordan's and Gergorich's have a few electric/water hookups available 1st come 1st serve basis

Directions: Exit the 131 Expressway at exit 142 (19 mile road) go east on 19 mile road to Northland Dr.
Turn left on Northland and proceed 4 miles to 23 mile Rd. turn right on 23 mile and Drive 3 mile to 180th Ave. Turn right on 180th
and after 1/10th of a mile bear left on 180th to the end of the blacktop road (old logging rd). We are one mile or so beyond the end of the blacktop at 17145
Everyone is also invited to a Pig Roast and kayak run on Saturday the 17th at Jordan's (same site as the FHTV party)
When you RSPV for the FHTV party let me know if you want to join us for the pig roast. This year there is a Dulcimer Festival
in Evart Michigan just 12 miles from us. We will be getting a group together for that activity on Friday between the parties.

Sam says you never know what's going to come down the blvd. We didn't even have a pull through that this would fit on. Another use for the triangle. Sam had to take a picture and also measure the length. (65 feet) A crew cab truck followed by a 5th wheel followed by a 12 foot storage trailer. We're all glad he's pulling it and not any of us.
News from Michigan
Hi All; We're home and e-mail is up and running. Tomorrow is the "Blessing of the Boats"
Father Loc is coming to bless the Kayaks and Canoes at 1:00PM.
After the blessing we'll ride the river from Hersey bridge to our house and repair to the deck for happy hour and a ham dinner.
Nobody does it better!
Now the FHTV Michigan Summer Extravaganza;
Date: July 15th-18th. July 15th is annual FHTV golf tournament set for 8:00AM and $19.00. Dinner is at 1:00PM
Place: Harold & Kathy Gregorich and Pete & Janet Jordan places on the Muskegon River
Our annual "Pig Roast, kayak/Canoe run proceeds to the Cancer Society will be July 17th.
This year there is the added attraction of the Evart Dulcimer Festival July 15th-18th just 12 miles from us
You are welcome to attend any or all parts of the affair.
Janet and I will get out the final logistics and particulars soon.
We can accomadate some RVs on site and we have two local County parks within 5 miles
We will also send out info on our local motels.
Everyone from the immediate world that has any connection to FHTV from any state in the union is invited.
So, if someone says they didn't get invited refer them to me and I'll send them the invitation.

Remember the Muskegon River in front of the Gregorich's and Jordan's is open anytime throughout the Summer.
Just give us a shout and we'll conjure up a party with the usual suspects.
