Well, Mike's background check finally came thru and he is now officially employed in Maintenance for Olympic National Park, Mora Campground. Thanks to everyone who got a background confirmation form, filled it out and sent it right back. Then they immediately asked him to skip his days off (he's been "working" full days all along) and work thru the holiday! I spent last week at camp and am back in Port Angeles with my Mama this week. She is doing pretty well right now and says Hi to everyone asking about her. Vicki's brother Tom called from Phoenix yesterday to say it was 54 degrees!? It was 64 here and it was OUR turn to gloat. Seattle was to be in the 90's, but not happening. It is beautiful out at Mora and Rialto Beach when it is sunny - big crashing surf, brown pelicans, bald eagles everywhere, beautiful towering green trees. Yup, pretty hard to take. But then, when it's foggy and raining . . . . .
Take care of yourselves and each other, have a nice holiday weekend, and don't get tooo hot.
