It's Summertime -- Where ?!?

We typically get cool temps and lots of rain and fog on the North Olympic Peninsula, but like everywhere else it is so erratic that the plants and animals, 2 and 4 legged, are all so confused. We had snow in the mountains again, and they had to use the snowplow on Steven's Pass for the first time in June in 30 years!! Three hikers were trapped by a sudden blizzard on Mt. Rainier; husband expired, wife and friend survived 3 nights. We drove to eastern Washington for first Grandson Cory's high school graduation; drove back home about four hours before the snow started on Snoqualmie Pass. Record high tides on the coast, and high winds causing damage from Seattle to Spokane. Remarkable - they are now calling it Juneuary. But it's bright and sunny today and is supposed to last thru Father's Day. Bet there will be lots of campers out at Mora Campground. That will keep Mike and the Rangers busy. Do so hope everyone in the Mid-West and East is safe. Hugs to All, Mike & Vicki
