The FHTV Hiking Club was out in force about forty strong. Our "Strollers" did three miles on the flat In Saguaro East, our No-Hurry group went up Pontotoc Ridge for some beautiful views of the city and our Hardy group Took a 5.4 mile jaunt up (1,500 ft rise) Tanque Verde Ridge. We could see the whole of Tucson and the surrounding mountains plus Picacho Peak 60 miles away. Breathtaking.And the 74 degree temps and sunshine didn't hurt either.
