The sponsor for the day after Independence Day was Norma Lewis who is 88 yrs young. There were 22 in attendance in the Cactus Room. The Randall's are leaving EARLY on Thurs. the 9th for the month of July, to escape the heat. They will be back when we see them.
The 4th of July Pot Luck was perfect. Thanks to Susie & Neal Mills and Wanda & Bob Sims, Bob just got out of the hospital 2 days before after having a stint put in, and all their helpers. The Fiesta room was beautiful. See the Blog video that B Rogers posted. Everything was enjoyed -Esther C.
Along with the coffee & donut provided by Norma there was also cake. We had a few guests, who are members of her family. Daughter Connie, son Greg, grandson Quit and his mother, Susie.
At 2:23 PM my patio thermometer says 108! WHEW!!! My swamp cooler is working fairly6 well, so I guess I'll stay inside this afternoon.-J Croft
